ACE-M², the Assam Centre of Excellence for Mobility and Manufacturing, serves as a platform to enhance skills and promote innovation in the fields of mobility and smart manufacturing.

The Centre was established through a partnership between the Government of Assam and Dassault Systèmes. This collaboration combines public vision with global technology to create a new talent and innovation landscape in the state.

ACE-M² aims to connect academia with industry. It offers students, researchers, startups, and MSMEs access to digital engineering tools, immersive technologies, and industry-specific training. The Centre is designed to develop talent in Automotive, Electric Mobility (EV), Aerospace & Defense, and Smart Manufacturing.

At ACE-M², learning focuses on hands-on experiences, industry relevance, and practical outcomes. The Centre provides commercial-grade engineering tools, immersive visualization areas, bootcamps led by industry experts, and collaborative spaces. This approach ensures learners gain real-world experience and skills that modern companies seek.

The Skills, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department (SEED), Government of Assam, is the main department responsible for promoting skill development, improving employability, and supporting entrepreneurship across the state. 

The Department works to strengthen the skilling system by matching training programs with industry needs, supporting workforce readiness, and creating sustainable job opportunities for youth.
